The Manufacturing Engineer will support our operations departments. This role will be responsible for all manufacturing processes in these areas. The primary functions of this role will be the support of daily production issues and process improvements through advanced manufacturing methods. Supporting lean and six sigma initiatives along with cost improvement activities will be a primary function of the Manufacturing Engineer.

General
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering with 4 years of industrial/manufacturing experience OR GED/HS Diploma with 7+ years of industrial/manufacturing experience. Injection molding experience is a plus.
Proficiency with CAD mechanical design in 3D and 2D (SolidWorks preferred).
Experience with ladder logic PLC programming a plus (Allen Bradley and Automation Direct controllers/software preferred).
Experience with various controls (servo/stepper motor and motion, temperature, hydraulic proportional valves, etc.) a plus.
Experience doing electrical systems/controls design, wiring, and debugging/troubleshooting a plus.
Experience with basic machine shop fabrication (milling machine, saw, etc.) a plus.
Experience in plastics manufacturing equipment such as extrusion, injection molding, tooling, mold design, material handling equipment, custom automation, etc. a plus.
Experience in capital equipment requests, financials, and procurement is a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
