What You'll Do:
- Full P&L ownership, including top and bottom line for Criteo retail media in Canada
- Develop, implement, and execute an overall strategy to considerably grow revenue and new business across Canada
- Provide exceptional leadership to inspire a dynamic and results-oriented team with a positive and inclusive culture
- Develop and adopt new systems and processes that provide visibility and accurately forecast sales results and opportunities, as well as provide quantitative and qualitative feedback for the team and region
- Acquire, retain and grow advertising investments from brands on the retail media networks of Canadian retailers
- Oversee the CA ad-sales team operating in-region, selling to brands and agencies. Actively develop and grow talent to achieve their annual plans
- Collaborate with US-based Sales Managers to drive CA ad investment from major brands in CPG, Beauty, Fashion, Hardlines and Electronics
- Support the in-house sales efforts of retailers using the Criteo platform, in coordination with the Retailer Enablement Partnership team in the US
- Acquire, retain and grow Canadian retailers on the Criteo platform, working closely with US/CA-based New Business team and retailer Account Managers in US
- Maintain current client retention rates above 90% and cross-sell new products
- Participate in key customer/partner presentations and maintain excellent customer relationships throughout the company's major accounts
- Be an active and vocal member of the Retail Media Americas leadership team and internal advocate for CA with Product, R&D, sales GTM and Marketing, ensuring that CA has a voice in the ongoing long-term development of the company and its offerings
Who You Are:
- An experienced sales professional with at least 10 years of proven success; consistent record of exceeding revenue targets and motivating teams to aggressively exceed targets
- 5+ years of experience working with retailers and retail media - you "speak retailer" as a native language
- Experience delivering excellence across multiple functions: enterprise sales and account management or enterprise business strategy especially
- Demonstrable record of increasing management responsibility, including a region
- Experience in performance and programmatic marketing and/or enterprise SaaS platforms used in ecommerce or retail
- Evidence of having thrived in a fast growth, open environment. Ideally will have worked in a company in hyper-growth
- Experience in, and strong understanding of, the Canadian Region (Role is based in Toronto)
- Strong background in developing and managing commercial strategies and senior-level relationships.
- Highly networked within the industry and able to break into and navigate executive (C-suite) customer audiences
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and listening skills. Must have the credibility and commercial maturity necessary to give high-quality input to senior management meetings with gravitas, executive presence, charisma, and knowledge
- Strong talent development skills; must have a track record in recruiting and developing high-performing people, and leading teams in a positive culture
