Position Overview
As the Manager, Total Rewards & People Analytics, you will play a vital role in developing and managing the Association’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and payroll administration. Reporting to the Director, People, Leadership & Culture, you will oversee the payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payroll activities across the Association. Additionally, you will lead the development and execution of people analytics initiatives to provide data-driven insights that inform PLC and business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Compensation: Lead the Association’s compensation strategy, ensuring competitive pay structures, internal equity, and regulatory compliance.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Benefits Program Management: Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other offerings.
- Workforce Data Management: Develop and enhance people analytics capabilities.
- People Leadership & Advisory: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering growth and high performance.
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards management.
- Professional designation in one or more of the following: Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP), Canadian Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll, benefits, and pension practices, standards, regulatory guidelines, and legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A Major Asset If
- You have worked in non-profit, charity or public sector organizations.
- You have a proven track record of implementing successful total rewards strategies in a large organization.
