Position Status: Temporary Full-Time (16-month contract to backfill a parental leave).

Available: May 2025

Description of the Position:

The Manager, Total Rewards and People Analytics plays a pivotal role in both developing and optimizing our total rewards programs, employee well-being programs and harnessing the power of data to provide actionable insights to inform workforce trends and HR strategies. The Manager, Total Rewards and People Analytics serves as a consultative partner, advising on key policies, processes and procedures to support broader business goals. Additionally, this role oversees reception and office services.

You will:

Total Rewards Program:

• Lead the development, implementation and ongoing refinement of our holistic total rewards strategy, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, aligned with business objectives and our overall talent strategy.

• Manage the compensation structure, including base salary, annual incentive program and recognition initiatives.

• Oversee the design and management of comprehensive benefits and employee well-being programs (health, wellness, defined contribution pension plan) to enhance the employee experience.

• Act as the Chair of the Foundation’s Joint Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness Committee.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies in all aspects of total rewards.

System and People Analytics:

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

• Oversee in house payroll pay process administration, acting as the subject matter expert.

• Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for total rewards and workforce planning, delivering data driven insights to optimize employee experience retention and engagement.

• Conduct detailed compensation analysis and equity audits to ensure fairness, transparency and consistency across all levels.

• Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to analyze talent trends, turnover and workforce demographics. Utilize people data and analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the team and leaders.

• Drive data integrity, security and accessibility for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

• Continuously evaluate and improve HR systems, tools and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

• Develop, lead, attract, inspire, manage a diverse, talented, and high-performing team to ensure that the mission and core values of SickKids Foundation are adhered to in practice.

• Commitment to both personal and team professional development.

• Lead or support various total rewards and people analytics projects, collaborating with key partners across HR and business units.

• Supports and contribute to a positive organization culture and champion equity, diversity and inclusion.
