Manager, Technology Infrastructure

1 Full-time, Permanent Position

The Technology Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's technology infrastructure, including data centers, communication rooms, networks, computing, enterprise tools, cloud services and telecommunications systems. This role supports 24/7 mission-critical operations by overseeing lifecycle planning, change management, risk mitigation, third-party management, and infrastructure provisioning for major technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transition the new Cisco ISE network to stable operations by the end of 2025.
  • Ensure technology infrastructure is provisioned on schedule to support major projects and new technologies.
  • Ensure lifecycle plans for all assets are completed.

The ideal candidate has strong decision-making, communication, and customer service skills and ensures standardized, well-documented procedures that align with IT General Controls (ITGC) and NIST frameworks.

Technology Infrastructure & Operations Management

  • Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of technology infrastructure, including data centers, communication rooms, networking, and telecommunications.
  • Implement infrastructure automation to reduce operational costs (OPEX) and improve efficiency.
  • Lead lifecycle planning to ensure technology assets remain supported, secure, and cost-effective.
  • Plan and provision technology infrastructure to support major business and operational projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, resolving escalated infrastructure issues efficiently.

Change Management, Risk Mitigation & Compliance

  • Manage a structured change management process, ensuring smooth implementation with minimal risk.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with technology infrastructure best practices.
  • Ensure standardized, well-documented operating procedures align with IT General Controls (ITGC) and NIST security frameworks.
  • Manage technology infrastructure changes within short overnight change windows, ensuring minimal business disruption.

Project & Financial Management

  • Ensure technology infrastructure is provisioned on time to meet key project milestones.
  • Optimize budget and resources, balancing cost efficiency with reliability.
  • Manage third-party service providers, ensuring value for money and effective service delivery.
  • Track and report on infrastructure performance and cost metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates and insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third parties, and leadership to align technology infrastructure with business needs.
  • Foster a customer-service-driven culture, ensuring high-quality support and operational excellence.
  • Lead and mentor technology infrastructure team members, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in technology infrastructure management in complex environments.
  • Experience managing data centers, communication rooms, networking, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong background in networking, including Cisco ISE, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and large-scale network transitions.
  • Experience supporting SCADA, mechanical, and building automation systems in OT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with technology infrastructure lifecycle planning, change management, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong vendor and financial management skills, ensuring third-party service providers deliver value for money.
  • Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) and NIST security frameworks for compliance and governance.
  • Experience overseeing disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) testing and execution.

Preferred Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
  • ITIL v4 Foundation (or higher) – Best practices for service management, change management, and operations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – For structured project execution and stakeholder coordination.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Strong networking knowledge, especially for Cisco ISE and SDN.
  • VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) – If managing virtualized infrastructure.

  • Ability to secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record check is required.

Work Environment & Conditions

  • 24/7 operational environment with short overnight change windows.
  • On-call availability for critical technology infrastructure support.
  • Requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams.
