The Manager, Social Media Analytics & Reporting is a key contributor across the Tim Horton’s Marketing department by supporting various teams to make data-driven decisions. The role is responsible for providing relevant and actionable insights that help guide content strategy, real-time optimization & brand risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is a technically savvy digital marketer, who understands how to use data to influence business decisions and effectively answer the “so-what” across various business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of social media conversation, identifying and proactively flagging emerging themes and sharing actionable insights across appropriate comms channels.
- Aggregate social media data into a wide array of report requests, including product launch reports and detailed sentiment insights.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of owned social media organic content, including Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.
- Work with Social Media Director to build robust KPI & benchmarking framework, taking into account both platform & competitor landscape.
- Actively manage our Crisis Comms framework with ongoing monitoring, analyzing and benchmarking across themes that could impact the brand.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal business partners (PR, Category, Guest Services, Retail, Sponsorship, Operations, etc.).
- Manage all social media monitoring platforms, external vendors and supporting agencies.
- Evaluate suitability and efficiency of external platforms, ensuring we are maximizing capabilities and leveraging tools as best as possible.
- Manage dashboard framework, validity and details related to content pillars, social sentiment, audience growth and tracking against brand KPI’s.
Requirements:
- 5+ years working across data analytics and reporting, ideally within a marketing or PR capacity.
- 2+ of those years specifically in a social media-related role.
- Experience working with large-scale social media management platforms (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout) including setting up keyword queries and dashboard templates.
- Exceptional social media monitoring capabilities, including reporting social media sentiment and proactively tracking brand reputation & conversation.
- Proven track record of analyzing data, translating it into succinct insights and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Clear and concise reporting style that simplifies data into topline findings, providing context and actionable insights.
- Strong data visualization skills with the ability to publish charts and graphs that contextually bring insights to life.
- Strong understanding of current social media landscape, platforms and best practices.
- Highly adaptable and collaborative with the ability to apply a sense of urgency in meeting tight reporting deadlines.
- Exceptional project management & prioritization skills, able to handle a high volume of report requests and manage competing priorities accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically as it relates to working across various teams & departments.
- Strong attention to detail with relentlessly high standards.
- Bilingual considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
