Global Information Security (GIS) leverages our people, processes and technology to develop new digitalization efforts that ensure our enterprise systems’ reliability, minimize staff interaction, and most importantly, protect our customers’ data. Companies are recognizing the need to digitize information and manage alternative work scenarios in today’s changing reality. With this in mind, we work tirelessly to drive improvements across our security services and accelerate our customers’ digital journey in a safe and trusted environment.

Security Operations is the team that handles day to day protection of our environment and the tools that support them. This team takes care of identifying security weaknesses and facilitates remediation efforts. Additionally, this team monitors networks to assess abnormal behaviors and manages security incidents to allow for execution of response processes.

Your Impact

The SOC Manager is a key member of the Security Operations team. This role is responsible for leading the SOC team, coordinating security operations across corporate and production environments, and ensuring the effective implementation of security tools, services, and technologies to protect the organization from cyber threats. The Security operations center manager provides oversight and management of the SOC, including security operations management and security incident response, incident detection and analysis, containment, and eradication of cybersecurity incidents. This position will manage resources, priorities, and internal projects and manage the team directly when responding to business-critical security incidents. Ideally, this role will be 8-5 pm eastern standard time.

What The Role Offers

As a Manager, Security Operations you will:

  • Define, implement, and scale SOC services, enhancing threat detection and incident response.
  • Oversee high-severity security incidents, refining response playbooks for rapid containment and recovery.
  • Ensure SOC adherence to regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, SOX, NIST) and manage security assessments.
  • Collaborate with IR and Threat Hunting teams, develop detection use cases, and implement automated security dashboards.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of AI-based security monitoring systems within the SOC environment.
  • Manage the integration of machine learning algorithms to improve threat detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
  • Manage security monitoring, incident analysis, ticketing, and maintain SOPs for SOC functions.
  • Optimize shift coverage, coordinate projects, and effectively communicate staffing needs to leadership.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 4+ years of SOC experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing security teams.
  • Proven ability to develop metrics measuring SOC performance and ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and SOC 2.
  • 5+ years managing security teams with hands-on experience deploying and tuning AI-powered security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Proven expertise in leveraging AI for pattern recognition in threat hunting operations and optimizing security analyst workflows.
  • Experience in operational, delivery, or security program management roles with a focus on enforcement and continuous improvement.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional ability to articulate security risks and SOC operations to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC (GCIA, GCFA, GCIH) preferred.
