About the team you are joining:

The Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) team is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of data solutions needed to monitor safety, operational, and efficiency KPIs. These include, without being limited to:

  • Managing aviation data sharing programs
  • Supporting internal and external businesses in their data, reporting, and dashboard needs
  • Developing a coherent approach to data visualization and analysis
  • Ensuring the availability, reliability, and quality of the data and related dashboards through continuous monitoring
  • Adhering to data governance policies, quality standards, and best practices

What your day would be like:

  • Manage the integration of operational data measurements and algorithms including documenting, coordinating, and monitoring the process.
  • Develop processes to ensure the quality of all datasets available to GADM.
  • Liaise with the Operations, Safety, and Security (OSS) division stakeholders for the delivery of data visualization and analytics as part of large projects.
  • Design and develop data models for visualization of GADM-related data analytics services/products.
  • Build data visualization using Power BI for GADM-related data analytics services/products.
  • Provide recommendations for the enhancement of existing GADM programs and contribute to the development of related data analytics services/products.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or comparable educational level
  • Experience in aviation operations & safety (e.g. airline, aircraft maintenance, MRO or safety audit organizations, SMS, ATM, airport)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Proficiency in business intelligence software such as Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL data warehouse technology
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical reports as well as data stories (presentations)
  • Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written; knowledge of an additional language is an asset.
