About The Role
Are you a passionate marketer ready to elevate in-store experiences and make shopping with Sephora exciting and effortless? Join us as a Manager, Retail Marketing, where you’ll lead the in-store execution of our marketing and business priorities. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing, you’ll shape the vision and strategy for Retail Marketing, crafting impactful campaigns, driving awareness for new store openings, and creating innovative retail experiences. This highly collaborative role connects you with US Retail teams, Canadian Production, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Operations, balancing North American strategies with local innovation.
What You’ll Do
Drive for an Elevated On—brand Experience in All Sephora Stores Across Canada
- Responsible for the Canadian Retail Marketing calendar, owning the strategy and implementation of annual programs and tactics
- Lead all aspects of all marketing collateral in-store, ensuring requests from the business are reviewed, briefed and executed to contribute and create a seamless consumer experience
- Develop bold, innovative ideas to bring excitement and joy to our stores, collaborating closely with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Store Events, Integrated Marketing, Production, and Creative teams
- Drive the Canadian window calendar, balancing leveraged US creative with local CA creative to ensure an elevated and beautiful front of shop experience
- Oversee the translation of local collateral into French and establish a streamlined process for translating leveraged materials
- Oversee the daily management of the Retail Marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and spend
Lead the Strategy & Execution for Marketing Campaigns in Retail
- Partner with Integrated and Brand Marketing to develop retail specific strategies and tactics to bring brand priorities to life across doors
- Lead the execution of Holiday in all Canadian doors, managing all promotion, brand campaign and holiday pop-up from brief to install
- Bring bold ideas to life with innovative brand activations and campaigns that push the boundaries
- Drive awareness to beauty services in and outside of the store
Retail Activations
- Lead the strategy, brief and execution of Sephora-led pop-ups, working in partnership with external agencies, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, Retail Operations, Education and Production
- Drive opportunities for low-effort high impact Mall Marketing, ensuring elevated placements across store network
New Store Opening Marketing & Campaigns
- Develop the integrated strategy to drive awareness and traffic into New Store Openings across Canada, driving cross-functional alignment on budget and execution
- Be the Project Lead for all NSO campaigns, creating an integrated plan across channels and partners and making sure it comes to life seamlessly
- Deliver Marketing reporting for NSOs, with a focus on paid media performance, working in partnership with Retail Operations to add additional support is stores are unperforming

- Ability to manage and collaborate with creative, retail, and production agencies to deliver outstanding campaigns and experiences
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets with a strong grasp of financial principles
- Strong expertise in integrated marketing, with the ability to lead cross-functional campaigns and leverage paid media
- Passionate about staying on top of retail trends and culture, always looking for fresh ways to create innovative in-store marketing experiences
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape and how to apply effective marketing strategies across multiple channels, with the ability to execute both big-picture plans and day-to-day actions
- You are adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to drive shared success
- You're game for travel! - visiting Sephora stores on a regular basis
