We are looking for a Manager, Registry Transformation for a temporary term (up to 3 years) to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
The Manager, Registry Transformation is responsible for driving and leading end-to-end transformation initiatives within Identity Access Management (IAM) and Common Registry Services within Registry Operation’s Transformation Program. This role focuses on aligning the organization’s strategies, models, operational blueprints, processes, and technologies to achieve significant improvements in performance, efficiency, and effectiveness, as required by the Program’s deliverables.
This role involves ensuring alignment of customer service & product strategies with the program’s purpose, ensuring effective & efficient processes, and driving collaboration between various stakeholders.
This role leads a team of Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), acting as a bridge between the technical and business aspects of the Transformation Program, ensuring that solutions are feasible, sustainable, and aligned with the project’s goals and objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Registry Transformation, other highlights include:
- Provide day-to-day direction to a team of Product Managers or other SMEs seconded to the Program, with a shared responsibility to coach, mentor, and manage performance of individuals periodically based on project timelines and milestones.
- Support the development and sign-off of Component Plans in collaboration with OPRA and the Program/Project teams within Transformation.
- Conduct impact analysis to understand the implications of proposed projects on business operations. This includes ensuring an understanding and documentation of relationships across business area flows, capturing the information flow, identifying the necessary business capabilities, ensuring all aspects of change are defined, understood, and managed.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather and document business requirements, manage stakeholder expectations and be an active advocate in communicating the program’s purpose and need for change. This includes authoring meaningful messaging for different audiences and improving collegial resilience surrounding business changes.
- Ensure there is a common understanding of business needs across project teams and with stakeholders, providing and reinforcing a clear understanding to the solutions architects and technical teams.
- Facilitate communication between various business units, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Support Senior Leaderships with the design and implementation of processes aligned with established legislative and regulatory requirements, and ensure the technical solution aligns with required processes, policies, and legislation.
- Responsible for identifying and integrating emerging customer and industry needs, policy approaches, and technology solutions into the enhancement of processes and solutions deployed as part of the Registry Enhancement Plan.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, plus 8+ years of related experience in product strategy, marketing, or business development, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Knowledge in developing strategic direction for products, services, and business operations management. Experience in applying knowledge in the management of product/service lines as well as developing new processes and approaches.
- Strong financial and business acumen to analyze the financial viability of products, services, and projects and to develop and explain revenue forecasting, financial modelling, and budget analysis.
- Understanding and ability to evaluate and apply research methodologies to inform decisions about product enhancements, introductions, and exits.
- Proven leadership and supervisory knowledge and experience.
