We’ve opened a role for a talented, entrepreneurial candidate to lead and develop our talent practice alongside the exceptional people in JLR’s Corporate Services team. Your Role

Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:

Talent Acquisition

  • Staying abreast of the latest best practices and developing and managing strategies and processes related to talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, selection, and employment agreements. This includes ensuring the People & Culture team and broad JLR leadership team can effectively communicate with candidates, including job postings, email and phone correspondence, conducting preliminary discussions and interviews, and extending employment agreements.
  • Developing and implementing training tools to foster success in hiring across all markets and geographies.
  • Partnering with the Marketing team to develop and enhance our employer brand.
  • Collaborating with staffing agencies and talent networks.

Performance & Development

  • Providing the leadership team with strategies and programs to foster the professional development of the company’s employees and their individual training plans.
  • Guiding the leadership team through processes and providing support when performance improvement plans are required for specific employees.
  • Developing, managing, and suggesting enhancements for the company’s career mentorship program.
  • Developing leadership coaching strategies and programs to ensure our current and emerging leaders are culturally aligned with the company’s values and have the leadership skills to succeed.

Retention

  • Developing compensation strategies and programs to ensure the attraction and retention of talent.
  • Providing leadership support in interpreting and applying compensation strategies to specific individuals and groups of individuals.
  • Assisting the company’s leadership in ensuring effective succession planning.
  • Working in partnership with the HR Operations Manager to develop communications aimed at ensuring that the company’s various investments in compensation, benefits, incentives, activities, perks, and other retention tools are recognized and appreciated by candidates, current staff, and leadership.

Managing staff

  • Setting goals and creating plans to meet them, including resource allocation and timelines.
  • Ensuring team members have the necessary tools and resources.
  • Encouraging team members to perform well, ensuring the team is aligned with the goals and addressing and resolving issues within the team as they arise.
  • Monitoring individual staff and team performance and providing continuous improvement feedback.
  • Ensuring team members comply with company policies and regulations.
