Job Title: Manager of Resident Services

Position Summary:
The Manager of Resident Services plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, focusing on resident satisfaction, administrative tasks, and community relations. This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of the needs of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resident inquiries, conflict resolution, room assignments, and maintaining relationships with city housing and social services staff, among other duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and contribute to administrative team meetings.
- Promptly return emails regarding residents and handle resident inquiries and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Manage documentation, including scanning resident documents to city workers and maintaining up-to-date resident files.
- Lead resident conflict resolution efforts to ensure a peaceful and supportive community environment.
- Coordinate meetings with community partner case workers and City Housing and Social Services staff to advocate for resident needs and services.
- Update and manage Lead Generation/Management for potential new residents.
- Respond to inquiries regarding bed availability and assist residents with onboarding.
- Conduct tours for potential residents.
- Prepare and manage the Activity Calendar, including typing up instructions for activities, and organizing resident meetings and minutes.
- Conduct resident reviews in collaboration with city workers and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency response.
- Update resident health information.
- Oversee student placement processes, including interviews, file preparation, and task delegation.
- Maintain and update the CHIP (Care Home Information Package) and manage resident room assignments.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in elder care, social services, or management are an asset.
- Proven experience in resident services, social work, or a similar role within an assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflicts and build positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rotation and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Experience in supervising and training staff or students is preferred.

Pay: $37,500.00-$40,500.00 per year
