Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of the Faculty of Medicine and the Chair, Discipline of Family Medicine, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Discipline of Family Medicine (DFM), including its academic programs, clinical operations, and research unit. The successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic support to key initiatives for DFM activities, and oversee a team of 29 staff. Duties include:
Experience (5-8 years) in a management capacity in an academic environment and/or the public sector; completion of a Master's degree in Health/Business Administration or related discipline; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Strong skills in strategic financial management, including administrative, organizational, leadership, analytical and problem solving is required. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required, as are strong computer skills. Familiarity with Memorial University policies and procedures, as well as familiarity with the Faculty of Medicine are assets.
$76,250 - $98,840 per annum (Management and Professional)
