We are currently seeking an innovative and results-oriented leader to join our team as Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and management skills, who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and as a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Clerk is responsible for directing the organization and administration of the Municipal Clerk’s Department, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and overseeing municipal by-law enforcement. The Clerk develops and assesses policies, procedures, and service standards, while staying up to date on relevant legislation and recommending necessary changes to Council. The Clerk also manages tenders, identifies grant funding opportunities, and collaborates with various stakeholders. Additionally, the Clerk oversees Township communications, including website updates, and conducts staff performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.

Salary and Benefits: The annual salary range of $87,742.20 to $109,673.20 (based on a 35-hour work week), plus a comprehensive health benefits package and the OMERS Pension Plan. A condensed work-week option is available following one year of employment.
