Description

The Manager of Corporate Education at Serefin is a pivotal leadership role within the organization, shaping its educational strategy and leadership. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the Vice President of Serefin Health holding the responsibility of developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive corporate education programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Serefin's workforce. This role underscores the strategic importance of education within Serefin's culture and goals. Working with the Vice President of Serefin Health, the Manager’s primary responsibilities are:


  • Supporting the development of a comprehensive educational strategy. This involves not only crafting a roadmap for educational initiatives but also strategically aligning it with organizational goals and objectives. The Manager will be tasked with analyzing the educational landscape, staying abreast of industry trends, and understanding the learning needs of the various teams.
  • Cultivating a culture of continuous learning by designing and managing a portfolio of professional development to empower employees to enhance their skills and knowledge continually.
  • Supporting the development of learning materials and curricula, collaborating with Learning Specialists across Serefin to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
  • Working closely with the Digital Learning Design Specialist to oversee the learning management system (LMS) and other educational tools for efficient education delivery.
  • Assessment and evaluation of programs by establishing robust measurement tools to gauge program success and impact, enabling data-driven improvements, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership in the development of corporate education initiatives aligned with Serefin's strategic goals and workforce development needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, educational best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of corporate education.
  • Collaborate with leadership and Learning Specialists to identify learning needs across Serefin.
  • Develop a comprehensive education strategy that includes learning objectives, curriculum development, delivery methods, and evaluation mechanisms.
  • Define key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
  • Oversee the design and development of learning materials, workshops, and other educational resources.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and Learning Specialists to ensure content relevance and accuracy of corporate programs.
  • In collaboration with the Digital Learning Design Specialist, support the development of a Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate education program delivery.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and mentorship of instructors, facilitators, and Learning Specialists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovative teaching among Learning Specialists.
  • Coordinate and deliver educational programs through various mediums, such as in-person training, virtual classrooms, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of educational offerings and make necessary adjustments.
  • Develop and administer assessment tools and methodologies to measure the education programs.
  • Use data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for program enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, department heads, and executives, to align education initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, including educational institutions and vendors, to enhance the educational offerings.
  • Support the organization’s operational and educational goals including other aspects of the business.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A master’s degree in education or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent leadership experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years in formal leadership positions is required, with a strong focus on education management.
  • Experience working in a teaching environment, or in a health center setting is highly desirable.
  • Participation in developing and delivering training in a contact center environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully establishing new programs, services, or departments within complex, integrated, and collaborative environments.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to enable effective collaboration and convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Well-developed leadership skills to lead teams, make decisions, and drive organizational success.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • A strong foundation in business management, including strategic planning, developing business case proposals, budgeting, resource allocation/utilization, and analysis.
  • Ability to think systemically and understand how various components of an organization interact to align educational initiatives with broader business strategies.
  • Proficiency in marketing, business proposal writing, and presentation skills to promote educational programs and gain support from stakeholders.
  • The capacity to function effectively during periods of rapid change and transition.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance leadership development in others and build strong team relationships.
  • Strong project management skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, both internally and externally.
