About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Provincial Director, Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness, and working as part of the leadership team, the Provincial Lead will provide advice and services on matters of Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness at the Provincial level. The Provincial Lead/Manager for Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness - Disability Management will oversee and contribute to the development and implementation of provincial processes and policies. These responsibilities encompass disability management (including occupational and non-occupational illness), attendance management, performance planning, and initiatives supporting occupational health, safety, and wellness. The provincial lead ensures compliance with direction set at the level of the province, and through implementation of policies and processes, ensures continuous improvement to advance a vision of excellence within their areas of responsibility.
The provincial Lead will also work with IWK on the provision of shared services related to health, safety, and wellness, where appropriate, and with other education institutions, government and other partners to meet current and future human resource requirements, such as:

Compensation and Benefits
$42.94 - $57.05 Hourly
