Tasks

1. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
2. Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination
3. Direct greenhouse and nursery operations
4. Harvest seedlings
5. Level earth to fine grade specifications
6. Organize greenhouse and nursery operations
7. Seed cutting
8. Supervise staff in shoots positioning and seed cutting
9. Tie and secure plants
10. Weeding
11. Control reported insect, disease and weed problems
12. Determine type and quantity of stock to grow
13. Develop marketing plans
14. Establish and maintain required environment
15. Establish work schedules
16. Hire, train and supervise staff
17. Maintain financial and personnel records
18. Order materials and stock
19. Provide product care and other information and service to customers
20. Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying
