Dentsu Canada is looking to add a strong analytics professional to their evolving team to support a world-class automotive client. The ideal candidate would have worked in the field of analytics with experience within media at an agency, corporate, or media vendor environments. Familiarity with digital media concepts for Search, Social, Video, and Display is a plus. A willingness to learn and good, clear & confident communication skills are required. The ability to think outside of the box is welcomed. A strong technical background in building relational databases, data visualization, automation, and marketing technologies is required.
Act as the go-to senior Analytics resource to multiple clients, including collecting project requirements, prioritizing deliverables, and managing multiple projects based on business needs, ensuring all deliverables are delivered with excellence.
Be an expert storyteller when communicating insights with a clear “so-what.” Deliver presentations and participate in meetings that are most effective in face-to-face or online settings.
Provide campaign deep dives, learnings, and optimization suggestions to maximize the outcomes for campaigns.
Act as the connective tissue between media planning, media buying, and other engaged agencies for data, analytics, and insights, ensuring insights and recommendations are multi-faceted.
Manage 1-2 direct line reports, with an emphasis on giving specific instructions on completing projects, establishing principles, and giving direction on delivering the best outcomes, coaching to help them work on tasks more autonomously, establishing goals, and having career conversations ensuring team members have a career progression plan.
Create, maintain, and update media performance dashboards and reports.
Work closely with the data engineering teams to ensure all data verification, QA, and completion requirements are met before reporting.
Identify and communicate automation, process/efficiency improvement opportunities to the leadership teams.
Provide training to internal and external teams on analytics frameworks, dashboards, and tools.
Establish Test & Learn frameworks and analyze test outcomes.
Use statistical models (time series, regression, etc.) for attribution analysis.
Interpret Media Mix Modelling results into media recommendations and campaign performance storytelling.
At least 5 years of experience working in a relevant role.
At least 1 year of experience directly managing analysts.
Strong understanding of the media ecosystem and analytics frameworks in Search, Social, and Display channels.
Proficiency in establishing and applying KPI frameworks to provide actionable recommendations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns.
Strong project management and collaboration skills with a demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving results.
Experience working directly with clients and managing clients’ expectations.
Strong working knowledge of at least one of the dashboarding solutions (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
Preferred working knowledge of Hive, SQL.
Intermediate knowledge of statistical modeling with Python or R.
Strong knowledge of the media planning and buying processes from pre-planning to post-analysis.
The salary range for this position is $75k-$85k. Actual salary within this range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits are also available to all permanent employees.
