Position Summary: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to elevate Wanuskewin's visibility, attract new clients and partners, and promote our mission and programs. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in marketing but also proactive in seeking out new opportunities to engage and expand our network. Tasks will include a variety of marketing project initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to Annual Marketing Plan to achieve stated departmental objectives.
  2. Share compelling stories about the impact of the organization's work.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, attract new clients, and support departmental objectives while staying on budget and on time.
  4. Create all marketing collateral including photography, videography, and written material.
  5. Oversee all aspects of marketing and communications, including designing digital marketing, print materials, branding materials, events, and public relations.
  6. Understand and implement various digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
  7. Create and manage content across multiple platforms.
  8. Maintain and enhance the organization's website and social channels, ensuring they reflect Wanuskewin's mission and vision.
  9. Develop press releases and public notices as required.
  10. Identify opportunities for marketing collaboration with other organizations, businesses, and community groups to grow our reach and create new relationships.
  11. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital advertising and email marketing campaigns, to drive engagement and support organizational goals.
  12. Use data and analytics to assess campaign effectiveness, make adjustments, and continually improve marketing efforts.
  13. Track key performance indicators and create regular reports to measure success.
  14. Conduct research to understand target audiences, identify market trends, and gather insights.
  15. Ensure that all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications are aligned with the organization's brand identity and core mission.
  16. Assist in the creation of multimedia content to engage audiences across digital and traditional channels.
  17. Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  18. Provide leadership and guidance on marketing strategies and best practices to team members.
  19. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of staff management for the Marketing Team to ensure a high-performing, engaged, and cohesive team.
  20. Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  21. Training and Development: Identify training needs and support employees in enhancing their skills.
  22. Performance Management: Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
  23. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and promote a positive workplace environment.
  24. Work in a safe manner, following safety regulations.
