We are CEM Benchmarking, a global data and insights firm for institutional investors including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.

Our Opportunity 

Reporting to the Head of Client Experience, the Manager, Marketing will bring functional expertise and operational B2B marketing support to our firm to support its growth in the global institutional investor space. This role will also work closely with our Product and Business Development teams to understand our clients’ and the firm’s objectives, in order to design solutions accordingly. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Marketing Campaigns 

  • Develop concepts to enhance CEM's brand in our core markets. 
  • Build and maintain an integrated calendar of upcoming marketing and related events. 
  • Create marketing materials for each campaign, collaborating with the team. 
  • Generate warm leads for sales efforts and track campaign performance. 
  • Contribute to the design, branding, and content of CEM's website. 

Digital Channels 

  • Develop and execute a plan to increase CEM's LinkedIn followership. 
  • Manage Peer Intelligence, our quarterly newsletter. 
  • Design and execute CEM's periodic email campaigns using HubSpot. 
  • Monitor and optimize web traffic, recommending improvements. 
  • Identify and recommend additional channels for exploration. 

PR and Press Relations 

  • Maintain a list of relevant journals, blogs, and podcasts for CEM. 
  • Foster relationships with key journalists for access when needed. 
  • Coordinate press releases and manage related follow-up. 

You Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies. 
  • An understanding of the pension fund and institutional investor industry would be an asset. 
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media, specifically LinkedIn and Google Analytics. 
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms and CRMs, particularly Hubspot. 
  • Experience using project management tools including Trello and Jira 
  • Experience using simple design tools, specifically Canva. Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
