As a Manager, Learning Technology and Standards your responsibilities will include:

  1. Be passionate about learning technology, the colleague experience, system standards and data integrity
  2. Lead and/or support initiatives that enable system adoption and process improvements
  3. Be the expert on the technical and functional capabilities of our learning systems, including:
    1. Consult on creative ways to use our learning systems to enhance our courses and learning programs
    2. Partner with internal IT team and external vendor partners on approved initiatives
  4. Lead the learning support function with excellence, including:
    1. Manage the learning inbox and maintain defined SLAs while leaning into our learning support escalation process when needed
    2. Create/maintain system documentation
    3. Troubleshoot system issues with users, internal IT team members, and vendors to understand the root cause and apply the best possible sustainable solution
    4. Identify and implement approved improvements or automation where possible
  5. Maintain standards and data integrity across our learning systems, including:
    1. Establish clear protocols and standards for entering data in our learning systems considering data collation, including from requesters, and considering storage that enable streamlining and audit log capabilities
    2. Regularly monitor and validate datasets across the LMS/LXP to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
    3. Identify and implement approved improvements
  6. Be the reporting capabilities expert of our learning systems
  7. Lead a high-performing team by motivating and inspiring team members, fostering a sense of collaboration and accountability surrounding our learning operations and standards
  8. Tackle various projects related to learning and development, as assigned

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Manager, Learning Technology and Standards? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:

  1. Completed post-secondary education, professional certification or equivalent experience in training and development / instructional design – CTDP Designation would be an asset
  2. 3+ years’ experience in a learning technology support role
  3. Docebo LMS Learn experience a strong asset
  4. A process improvement mindset
  5. Experience working with learning content including, but not limited to, ILT, workshops, SCORM, e-Learning, videos, podcasts and documents
  6. Solid knowledge and experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships with and influence individuals from all areas, role levels and functions in the firm
  8. Possesses a process improvement mindset
  9. Strengths in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  10. Strong attention to detail
  11. Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively and successfully under pressure
  12. Experience in project management and in using project management tools
  13. Experience creating communication messages with different delivery formats (i.e. email, SharePoint site, virtual community boards)
  14. May have additional assets such as background in/knowledge of Accounting practices; certifications/experience in Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile
