Manager, Internal Audit

Our client, a Canadian publicly listed company on both the TSX and the NYSE, is looking to hire a full-time Manager, Internal Audit. In this role, you will report directly to the VP Internal Audit and be responsible for strengthening internal controls, improving business operations, and reducing corporate-wide costs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing internal audit plans and risk assessments. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Planning, executing, and reporting internal audit plans
2. SOx compliance
3. Assisting in recruiting, building, and managing a team
4. Special projects and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Designated Accountant or similar (CPA, CIA, etc.)
• 5+ years of internal audit and SOx experience in a large complex organization
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
