Reports to: Director of Human Rights & Investigations
The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is looking for a Manager, Intake and Early Resolution in our Human Rights & Investigations Department to join our Team!
What You Will Do
- Oversee the day-to-day guidance and assistance to all levels of TTC management, staff, and unionized employees on human rights, accommodation, accessibility, and workplace violence related issues.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex complaints, mediations, and applications regarding alleged contraventions and/or violations of human rights-related policies, regulations, acts, and other legislation.
- Develop and deliver education/training programs.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of a team.
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct work processes within area of responsibility to ensure effective, timely resolutions.
- Provide education through training programs or learning sessions to educate clients or staff.
- Identify, develop, and implement dispute resolution strategies.
- Record and document key information within area of responsibility (workforce reports, analyses, statistics, etc.) and provide to related parties or store appropriately.
- Promote a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
- Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply various relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience leading a team in a high-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Specialized expertise and knowledge in the assigned field.
