Position Details
Position Title: Manager, Infrastructure Services
Department/Section: Corporate Services
Employment Status: Permanent Full Time
Targeted Salary Range: $115,731.20-$137,430.80
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 Days Per Week)
*Increased frequency required in-office as needed (particularly in the first 6-12 months)
Location: 5310 Explorer Drive, Mississauga
Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours/Week

The targeted salary range is supplemented by a competitive total rewards package. The salary offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors such as the individual’s skillset, level of experience applicable to the role and internal equity considerations.
Role Overview
The Manager, Infrastructure Services leads technical teams, directs infrastructure and financial management, and drives strategic IT planning, governance, and cybersecurity operations while managing technology partnerships to optimize corporate-wide infrastructure and support services.
We are seeking a progressive technical leader who is passionate about implementing best practices and innovative ideas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversees initiatives, vendor relationships, and budgets to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment with business goals.
- Provides leadership to direct reports responsible for delivering corporate-wide technical infrastructure, including network (Telecom & Datacomm), cloud, server, database administration, storage area networks, data center management, IT disaster recovery arrangements and tests coordination, and level 1 and 2 applications troubleshooting.
- Oversees cybersecurity initiatives and vendor relationships.
- Actively leads ITSM practices such as Change, Incident and Problem Management.
- Uses change management to lead and support the planning and implementation of transformation initiatives and business process reengineering.
- Manages and maintains cloud infrastructure and corporate hardware infrastructure.
- Administers corporate services and acts as Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation point for core third-party business systems.
- Plans, implements, and tests disaster recovery procedures in collaboration with key internal and external partners.
- Develops, manages, and continually monitors multi-million dollar operating, capital, and personnel budgets.
- Negotiates cost-efficient contracts for carriers, internet service providers (ISPs), renewals, and new purchases.
- Collaborates with cross-functional business groups to clarify current and future technological and support requirements.
- Works with the Project Management Office (PMO) to deliver project accountabilities in alignment with agreed project timelines.
- Develops and recommends IT strategic initiatives, governance frameworks, and alternatives.
- Evaluates and manages technology partnerships to support and enhance corporate infrastructure and service delivery.
- Point of contact for cybersecurity, providing expertise on information security investments.
Qualifications
- University Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of 7-9 years of experience in a similar and relevant position.
- Progressive IT management experience leading various IT support teams.
- Experience developing and monitoring multi-million-dollar IT budgets.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and data centre operations.
- ITIL experience.
- Experience in creating business-specific documentation and business cases.
- Strong leadership and team management skills in IT.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT hardware and software products.
- Ability to effectively manage and monitor IT budgets.
- Familiar with data center operations and disaster recovery.
- Proficiency in identifying and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Skilled in project management.
- Knowledge and application of ITIL-based policies and guidelines.
