We are seeking a skilled and experienced HRIS Manager to join our team at Bombardier. The successful candidate will manage a team of professionals responsible for governing our HR systems. This includes ensuring that the functionalities meet the needs of the business, that the organization adopts the platform’s evolving features, and overseeing the reporting of employee metrics. The primary system in use is SAP SuccessFactors.
What are your contributions to the team?
- System Governance: Oversee the effective governance of HR systems, ensuring that they meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Functional Management: Ensure that the HRIS functionalities are aligned with business processes and objectives.
- Platform Adoption: Drive the adoption of new features and functionalities within the HRIS platform across the organization.
- Metrics Reporting: Oversee the accurate and timely reporting of employee metrics and other key HR data.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to identify needs and deliver HR technology solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and systems, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, ensuring service levels are met and issues are resolved promptly.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in HRIS management, either within a large organization or with a system integrator.
- You have a strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and other HRIS platforms.
- You hold an in-depth understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- You have proven ability to lead and develop a team of HRIS professionals.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- You have experience managing HRIS projects from initiation through to implementation and support.
- You hold excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Attributes
- Certification in SAP SuccessFactors or other relevant HRIS platforms; end-to-end implementation experience of large ERP system(s).
- Experience with data privacy; security in HR systems and supporting organizational audit processes.
- Proven track record of driving HRIS-related process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in HRIS.
