Job Description
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the incumbent manages a team of Human Resources Business Partners. This team acts as a strategic partner for the company, providing support, guidance, and advice to managers in human resources management. The incumbent works in partnership with the managers they support, acting as resource persons. They offer advice and support in managing teams aimed at developing the company and individuals. They coach, support, and develop their HRBP team to provide the same service to all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Accompanies, with the support of the specialized functions (culture and talent, training, compensation, payroll), certain leaders and sectors of the company in the development of their human resources, with the support of a team of business partners.
- Provides advice and expertise to management teams in all areas of human resources management, including change management, team building, conflict resolution, and identifying opportunities to improve the quality of human resources within the company.
- Provides consulting and coaching services to managers in resolving human resources management issues and developing their management skills.
- Acts as a change agent to support managers in the various organizational transformations they are implementing.
- Ensures a cross-functional vision of the organization and effective communication with their team to standardize and optimize management support interventions.
- Develops and optimizes tools to support management and the application of corporate policies and programs.
- Acts as a promoter of the company's culture and values.
- Manages the preparation of various litigation files as required.
- Collaborates and participates in various human resources projects.
- Initiates, evaluates, and recommends improvements to HR processes and procedures.
- Supports a team of five HRBPs and ensures their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources.
- Eight to ten years of general human resources experience and three to five years of management experience.
- Ability to sell ideas and build good interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop tactical plans and then execute them.
- Good knowledge of labour laws.
- Motivated team player with excellent influencing skills.
- Tolerance for ambiguity.
- Customer-oriented, autonomous, and highly organized.
- Bilingualism (English French), both spoken and written.
