About the Opportunity
The Forensic Assessment & Corrections Treatment (FACT) unit is a 24-bed unit that provides psychiatric assessments to individuals remanded by the courts of the NS justice system to determine if an individual is not criminally responsible and/or unfit to stand trial related to criminal charges they are facing.
The Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility (CNSCF) Health Services is responsible for the provision of primary care services, mental health and addictions services, and dental services, within the CNSCF.
The Health Services Manager (HSM) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the interprofessional health services teams at both FACT and CNSCF. The HSM will be responsible for day-to-day clinical operations, standards of care, and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Reporting to the designated Director, Central Zone MHAP, and working as part of a collaborative leadership team, the HSM will contribute to policy development, quality initiatives, service standardization, and resource management.

Compensation and Benefits: $45.45 - $60.39 Hourly
