SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will be the lead for monthly reporting, planning and forecasting for BGIS North America.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning/Forecasting

1. Be one of the super users of the Company’s financial reporting tools (Vena).
2. Carry out various performance analyses, some of which are complex, for the Executive team in order to closely monitor the action plans established and detect opportunities or blind spots.
3. Co-ordinate with the Regional Finance leads and their FP&A support functions to consolidate on a North America basis the Annual Plans and Quarterly Forecasts.
4. Consolidate changes requested by Global Executive Team and communicate with the Regions to incorporate the changes in the Plan/Forecast.
5. Support the Annual Strategic Planning process based on specific instructions from CFO/VP/Director.

Data Analytics

1. Build, develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics with a robust set of KPIs on operational effectiveness and business impact.
2. Lead the Reporting/Analytics space to drive value for key business strategies.
3. Organize and improve data management and oversee data quality.
4. Ensure that the analytics solutions put in place (by you or other team members) help solve business issues and/or add value in decision-making.

Monthly/Quarterly Reporting

1. Prepare Monthly Management Report.
2. Support CFO and Senior Director in management reporting to Executives.
3. Support CFO and Senior Director in preparation of monthly/quarterly materials for internal stakeholders.
4. Conduct ad-hoc analysis, as required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

1. University degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
2. At least one of CPA, CA, CGA or CMA.
3. Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long-Term (3 year+) planning cycles.
4. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, proficient in financial modeling and developing executive quality presentations.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Solid problem-solving skills and able to work through complex and ambiguous situations.
7. Works well under pressure and manages short deadlines.
8. Strong attention to detail.
9. Able to drive process improvements to mitigate risk and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
10. Knowledge of data manipulation and data visualization software (Power BI, Power Query), an asset.
