Recognizing the changing and fast-paced professional landscape, you will team with engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the role and effectiveness of the Finance function. We are seeking Tagetik EPM Solution Architects to join our EPM practice. You will be helping clients improve their business and internal finance performance through a focus on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational effectiveness and strategic decision making.

The Opportunity

A career in our EPM practice within Consulting services provides opportunities to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize their finance functions.

We help organizations achieve strategic alignment of their finance organization, implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unite the business around its core objectives.

Our EPM team sits within the Finance Performance Improvement practice. As an EPM practitioner, you will either support EPM components of projects in those areas or standalone projects focused on transforming and technology enabling:

  • FP&A and Management Reporting
  • Integrated Business Planning/Supply Chain Planning
  • Finance Consolidations
  • Automation of Reconciliations
  • ESG Reporting

Your key responsibilities

Join our dynamic team as a Manager-level Tagetik EPM Solution Architect, where your expertise will be the driving force behind transformative financial solutions. In this exciting role, you'll take the helm of CCH Tagetik module implementations, focusing your talents on areas that are critical to business success: financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and beyond. You'll also delve into the realms of integrated business planning and supply chain optimization, as well as spearhead initiatives in reporting, reconciliations, and ESG reporting.

As the architect of our clients' financial futures, you'll forge strong partnerships with business leaders and technical experts, translating complex requirements into innovative solutions. Your mission will be to configure and refine systems that not only meet but exceed expectations, ensuring each implementation is a resounding success.

Your prowess in financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting will be the cornerstone of your role, empowering our clients to navigate the financial landscape with confidence and precision. Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Expertise in client collaboration and requirements gathering to align with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing CCH Tagetik solutions tailored to financial and performance management goals.
  • Capability to create comprehensive technical architectures, including data models and process flows.
  • Skill in developing custom reports, workflows, and functionalities within CCH Tagetik.
  • Ability to write and maintain efficient code using CCH Tagetik scripting languages (MDX, BPF, Calculation Manager, VBScript).
  • Experience in performing system configurations and customizations to fulfill unique client needs.
  • Competence in conducting thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
  • Involvement in system integration tasks, ensuring accurate data handling and API functionality.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional support and troubleshooting for system users and administrators.
  • Commitment to staying current with CCH Tagetik updates and leveraging new features for continuous improvement.
  • Assisting in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A strong academic record including a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in industry or with a recognized consulting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role, with a focus on CCH Tagetik software.
  • Strong understanding of CCH Tagetik architecture, modules, and functionalities (such as AIH, Financial Workspace, ETLs, Reporting, FP&A, Account Reconciliation, ESG, IBP/Supply Chain Planning, Cashflow Planning).
  • Relevant certifications (such as Level 1: Novice, Level 2: Platform Specialist (Budget Expert, Consolidation Expert level 3): Budgeting and planning Pro, Consolidation Pro, Level 4: Budgeting and Planning Champion, Consolidation champion) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in CCH Tagetik configuration and administration, including metadata management, dimensionality, consolidation rules, workflow design, and security models.
  • Experience with integration between CCH Tagetik and other enterprise systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, along with expertise in EPM processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to translate current customer spreadsheet or other financial systems to effective and efficient CCH Tagetik solution.
  • Deep understanding of accounting processes, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, allocations, and top-side adjustments.
  • Deep understanding of planning processes, including G&A Planning, HR Planning, Capital Expense Planning, Project Planning, or ESG Planning.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
