Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for :

  • Leading a team of two data analysts and sales controllers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, IT, Sales Management, Product Management, Marketing divisions, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Data Modeling: Building and validating predictive models using machine learning and statistical methods. Selecting appropriate algorithms based on the problem and data characteristics.
  • Feature Engineering: Creating new features from raw data to improve the performance of models.
  • Deployment and Monitoring: Deploying models into production environments to make real-time predictions. Monitoring model performance and retraining models as necessary to maintain accuracy over time.
  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing sales, customer, product, and performance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collecting data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party services while ensuring data is cleaned and preprocessed to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Data Visualization: Creating visualizations (utilizing Power BI) to communicate/represent data findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Providing proactive recommendations and reports on company KPIs (Sales, GP, Profitability, Customers, Sales Commissions, etc.) to senior management based on forecasting models and historical trends.
  • Providing insight and support for territory optimization, customer transfers, sales planning and target adjustments, and compensation plans and incentives.

What YOU will bring to this role :

  • Degree/Diploma in an analytical area, preferably in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Economics.
  • A leader with keen self-awareness who can role model and support a high-performance culture built on humanistic values by utilizing coaching and talent development skills.
  • Self-starter who can perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while effectively managing priorities and working time.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can create authentic relationships with colleagues.

  • Keen self-awareness and alignment with a workplace culture that is built on humanistic values and continuous improvement.
  • Adept and interested in understanding business needs and working to achieve the company’s vision and goals.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.) with advanced Excel skills.
  • Expertise in Power BI is required, as well as working knowledge of Dynamics AX, SAP, and Genesys Cloud are an asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset - verbal and written.
