The Opportunity (Open to Hybrid)

This role offers the chance to shape an emerging data operations function at a fast-growing tech company. We're seeking a hands-on leader to centralize and streamline internal data operations. You'll have full autonomy across the data value chain, from identifying sources, collecting, and migrating data into the warehouse, to creating sources of truth and integrating them into systems like CRM. Your work will fuel critical functions such as finance, marketing, sales, and analytics.

Your Impact

  • Data Architecture and Process Management: Design and manage data warehouse architecture across company systems, legacy platforms, and new initiatives, shaping data processes and collection.
  • Strategic Data Integration: Plan and prioritize the integration of new data sources to expand analytical capabilities. Serve as the subject matter expert for data integrations across key systems (CRM, ERP, Marketing Automation) and automate operational processes.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring data requirements align with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to evolve best practices for the analytics stack and drive scalability.
  • ETL and Data Aggregation: Skilled in aggregating raw data (SQL) into company-level sources of truth, reverse-engineering ETLs as needed.
  • Data Accuracy and Automation: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through automation, data quality initiatives, and robust data governance.
  • Data Governance and Security: Define and maintain data governance policies, including access control for data warehouse and BI tools.
  • Documentation Management: Uphold exceptional documentation standards for future-proofing deliverables.
