The Manager, Business Applications plays a crucial role in driving the organization strategic initiatives by overseeing the development and implementation of effective business application solutions. This position is focused on creating and optimizing systems that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. The Manager, Business Applications identifies opportunities for improvement and innovation, ultimately fostering an environment that supports growth and adaptability in a dynamic market.


What You'll Do

  1. Lead the development and execution of business application strategies aligned with organizational goals and market demands.
  2. Maintain documentation of workflows and best practices for team consistency.
  3. Facilitate training on new applications and tools to enhance functionality.
  4. Oversee the integration of new application systems to improve user experience.
  5. Collaborate with business analysts to leverage data insights for application development and performance.
  6. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in partnership with legal teams.
  7. Maintain an organized database of business applications, updating or retiring outdated tools.
  8. Troubleshoot user-reported issues to enhance application performance.
  9. Support new users with onboarding resources for effective application use.
  10. Implement governance policies for access and lifecycle management.
  11. Customize application features for improved usability.
  12. Monitor application performance and collaborate with tech teams to meet business objectives.
  13. Coordinate updates and maintenance to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  14. Plan deployment schedules for timely user access.
  15. Track and resolve application-related issues promptly.
  16. Recommend third-party tools to leadership for efficiency improvements.
  17. Enforce security best practices through monitoring and audits.
  18. Develop user-specific workflows to enhance collaboration.
  19. Assist with third-party application integrations for compatibility.
  20. Conduct routine audits to maintain quality across platforms.
  21. Stay updated on industry trends in application management.
  22. Perform data cleanup to ensure application integrity.
  23. Provide ongoing user support and develop tailored solutions for business needs.

What You'll Bring

  1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  2. 3-5 years of experience managing business applications or similar roles
  3. 3+ years of experience in people management
  4. Proven ability to develop and implement application strategies aligned with business goals
  5. Strong understanding of user needs and industry trends to ensure application value
  6. Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and strategies clearly
  7. Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience
  8. Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  9. Detail-oriented, ensuring applications function accurately and meet standards
  10. Proficient in business application tools for effective management
  11. Strong analytical skills to assess performance and drive improvements
  12. Experience maintaining project timelines and deliverables in application management
  13. Familiar with change management processes for smooth application updates
  14. Ability to gather and incorporate user feedback to enhance solutions
  15. Understanding of how business applications support organizational processes
