Job Title: Manager - Accounting

Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000

Position Overview: As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing client engagements, including year-end compilation engagements, corporate and personal tax return preparation, and financial statement generation.
Job Function: Accounting
Reporting to: Senior Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage year-end compilation engagements for clients.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, including complex tax situations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely responses to inquiries.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff accountants and junior professionals.
- Support and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills.
- Perform regular reviews of workpapers and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & French)
- CPA license is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on compilations and tax preparation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation software.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
