The Ministry of Social Services is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Manager, Accommodations and Emergency Preparedness. As the Manager, you will lead a small team to ensure Ministry of Social Services infrastructure, space requirements, and capital investments are future-focused and aligned with Ministry and program priorities. You will lead the Ministry in Supply Chain Management including procurement practices. Additionally, the position is responsible for planning for and responding to Ministry of Social Services office emergencies and business disruptions.

The successful candidate will manage and oversee the Ministry central mail room, the provincial CVA fleet, ordering of provincial forms, and Supply Chain Management including specialized projects, tenders, and procurement of provincial assets.

To qualify for this position, you will have demonstrated knowledge of and experience in business administration functions such as human resource management, change management, project management, and financial management. Our candidate of choice will have proven management experience, combined with superior leadership and problem-solving skills. Senior experience related to human resource management, change management, project management, supply chain management including procurement, and business administration is essential.
