What will you do in this job?
This is a multi-faceted position working in three different restaurants: The Lakehouse Café, The View, and The Waffle Hut. Responsibilities include:

1. Provide a warm and welcoming experience by actively greeting and engaging with all guests.
2. Work various shifts that may include cashiering, food running, food service, bussing tables, restocking, basic bartending, barista duties, and assembling waffles.
3. Operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit cards responsibly.
4. Provide guests with information on the local area.
5. Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods.
6. Ensure exceptional service at all times.
7. Stock and maintain product levels.
8. Ensure correct cash and float security during operating hours.
9. Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely manner.
10. Uphold high standards of environmental stewardship.
11. Maintain cleanliness of service and dining areas.
12. Assist in product preparation.
13. Other duties as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred but not required.
- Cash handling experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment.
- Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Enthusiastic about hospitality and providing warm, engaging service.
- Ability to handle stress professionally.
- Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Second language is an asset.
- Pro-Serve qualifications.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Must meet grooming and appearance standards.
- Consent to a criminal record check.
