Job Summary:

ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Millwright to join our Saskatoon team on a permanent full-time basis! Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the millwright is responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems within the plant. This includes centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, agitators, and fans.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely perform Preventative Maintenance to minimize plant downtime due to equipment failures.
• Typical tasks include vibration checks, oil changes, filter changes, belt replacements, pump rebuilds, compressor rebuilds, etc.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns to minimize production interruptions. This includes troubleshooting and determining the best course of action.
• Support installation of new equipment as part of major maintenance upgrades and capital projects. This includes fabricating equipment baseplates, aligning and leveling new equipment, and providing input to the selection of new/replacement equipment.
• Be available on-call for emergencies that may occur outside of regular working hours. This includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Respond quickly to emergency repairs on machinery and equipment to restore functionality as quickly as possible.

Key Attributes:

• High School Diploma is required.
• Journeyman Millwright Trades Qualification (Red Seal) is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a process plant is preferred.
