Term Seasonal Park Maintenance Position Available for 2025

• Hourly rates starting at $21.8093 to $24.8860 depending upon experience and education
• In addition to the hourly rate of pay, earnings include
• 5.2 percent of regular wage earnings as holiday pay
• 6 percent of regular wage earnings as annual vacation pay
• 8-hour workday (Monday through Friday) - overtime may be expected as part of this role

Workplace: Special Areas Parks - Blood Indian Park and SA Campgrounds

Enjoy a challenging and rewarding seasonal position that will have you working outside in Special Areas during the late spring and summer months. This crew of two operates large scale mowing equipment hauled from Special Areas river campgrounds and waste disposal sites fulfilling the maintenance requirements of each site from high mow season into the fall. Seasonal positions offer:

Description:

• Mowing, garbage collection, washroom cleaning, tree planting, watering
• Primarily works outdoors in all weather conditions
• Delivering the Special Areas Safety Program and all reporting requirements
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Experience operating and maintaining tractors, mowers, and hauling equipment
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50lbs.
• Excellent customer service: able to use courtesy and discretion to solve problems
• Good judgment and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
