RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning and Scheduling of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance throughout the facility according to predetermined frequency or state of the equipment (RCM).
• Generating and assigning Work Orders (Preventive, Inspection, Emergency, and Corrective) to avoid unplanned equipment downtime and increase efficiency.
• Reviewing weekly/daily downtime and updating work orders and PMs to reflect actions for downtime and trends.
• Creating the Standard Operating Procedures/work instructions for equipment setup to achieve uniform quality and reduced changeover duration.
• Focusing on creating a safe environment to work in by training the maintenance personnel on BBS (Behavioral Based Safety), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
• Coordinating/escorting and scheduling the Contractors/vendors to perform maintenance activities in the facility.
• Issuing Purchasing Orders for OPEX (Service Requests and contracts) and CAPEX.
• Communicating with the Operations team to plan the availability of the production lines to execute the major equipment overhauls, preventative maintenance, changeovers, etc.
• Assisting the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor with the internal and external audits (GMP, Food Safety, and Fire Safety) and generating and addressing work orders as per the audit findings.
• Performing the roles and responsibilities of Maintenance Supervisor during his unavailability AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CET designation (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a combination of batch and discrete manufacturing environments.
