Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with large machinery
• Experience with stamping presses; teardown and rebuild of presses an asset
• Experience with troubleshooting, repair, welding & fabrication
• Good problem solving skills and ability to detect equipment malfunctions
• Ability to repair or fabricate and replace defective parts
• Capable of multitasking
• Working accurately and with attention to detail
• Able to exercise independent judgement and make decisions within established guidelines
• Good organizational skills

Duties / Responsibilities

• Press inspection and troubleshooting
• Press disassembly & assembly
• Repairs – welding and fabrication
• New controls installation
• Hydraulic / pump replacements and lubing systems
• Press upgrading
• Install of safety guards
• Emergency breakdown support
