  • Technical Expert with 5 years experience building and managing maintenance programs in an automated food or fluid processing facility.
  • Collaborative problem-solver who loves working with diverse teams to balance day-to-day operations with long-term process improvements.

What You'll Do:

  • Create a Culture of Excellence
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of maintenance professionals, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to excel.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to foster a collaborative, solutions-driven approach to maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging work environment where employees feel valued and empowered.
  • Optimize Equipment Performance
  • Develop and execute a best-in-class preventive maintenance program to maximize uptime, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
  • Oversee maintenance operations, swiftly addressing chronic issues and allocating resources strategically.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce safety standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safe work environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance leadership experience.
  • Millwright certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance of refrigeration and boilers, including PLC ladder logic; 4th Class Power Engineer certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and relevant regulations.
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside of regular hours.
