Maintenance Manager

Description

1. Oversee the skilled trades team and all engineering operations in their mixing facility
2. Supervising of 6 people total - 4 trades, 1 laborer, 1 MRO - In the future will be overseeing Engineering team as well (process engineer and controls engineer)
3. Assignment of work
4. Direct day to day processes and operational workflow
5. Maintain mixing machines, ensure smooth workflow
6. Best practices on mechanical engineering work are followed
7. Production support if needed
8. Electrical controls maintenance
9. Interview and hire engineers to join their team
10. Works in cooperation with Sales, R&D Engineering, and the Business Units in evaluating, developing, and implementing new technology
11. Participate in Lean Enterprise activities
12. Oversee setting up of machines and equipment
13. Works as part of a cross-functional team to review internal and external quality performance

Skills & Qualifications

• P.Eng designation in mechanical engineering OR a Trades Ticket
• Automotive experience Strongly preferred
• Maintenance Manager/Supervisor Experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
