Education: Other trades certificate or diploma

Experience: 5 years or more

Work setting: Construction

Tasks:

1. Install electrical controls and panel boxes
2. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
3. Keep maintenance reports and documentation
4. Instruct apprentices
5. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:

Electrician Trade Certification

Equipment and machinery experience:

1. Motors and controls
2. HVAC

Area of specialization:

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
