Adept:us are excited to have partnered with a reputable manufacturing business that is part of a widely recognized retail group. Based in Southampton, they are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role:

As part of the maintenance engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all production and process machinery operates efficiently. Your key tasks will include:

1. Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
2. Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and functions smoothly.
3. Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and modification of electro-mechanical systems.
4. Team Collaboration: Provide training, coaching, and support to production and operational staff.

The Requirements:

1. Qualified to level 3 in an engineering discipline.
2. Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
3. A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
4. Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
