Machine Operator - Welder

Title: General Labor
Location: Brampton, ON
Wage: $20.00 /hr.
Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Shifts available: Monday to Friday

We have an immediate opening for a full time General Labor. Our Brampton customer specializes in the production and fine precision grinding of industrial bandsaws. Located near McLaughlin and Sandalwood, this is an ideal role for someone looking to work in a small family environment.

Job Duties:

1. Operate flash-butt welding machines
2. Utilize various handheld tools effectively
3. Grind finished welds using both handheld and machine grinders
4. Perform light machine operations, including vacuum machines
5. Package completed products for shipment

Job Requirements:

1. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential
2. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required
3. Strong background in manufacturing is necessary
4. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs due to handling flat metal products
5. Ability to read and interpret purchase orders for accurate metal cutting
6. Skilled in using handheld or stationary grinders to refine weld connections
