Machine Operator

As an extruder operator, you'll contribute to the success of the company by:

• Setting up and monitoring extruder operation to detect sheet defects or machine malfunctions, making adjustments to create high quality plastic sheet.
• Conducting ongoing checks on the specifications of produced sheet.
• Adjusting the dies and cutting blades to attain order requirements.
• Consistently updating paper to ensure accurate inventory.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Working enthusiastically with other departments.
• Transporting, weighing, labeling, and shipping completed rolls and sheet.

• Be a star in running the machines to efficiently produce high quality roll stock with minimal scrap.

• Work 12 hour shifts - working 3 days then off for 4 days, then working 4 days and off 3 days (84 hours every 2 weeks = overtime pay).

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36-48 per week

• 12 hour shift

Experience:

• Plastics manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• Extrusion machine: 3 years (required)
