The Loss Prevention & Inventory Control Analyst, Canada will assist the Manager of Loss Prevention & Inventory Control in managing all aspects of inventory control and stock loss for Canada.
What you can expect:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support in scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating individual stock takes for all retail locations in Canada including warehouses for concession partners.
- In-depth analysis and investigation of physical stock take deviations in high shrink locations.
- Plan and execute period site audits, ensuring sites are adhering to procedures and policies.
- Analyze inventory stock movements with a focus on identifying outliers, root causes, and findings.
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions that can be used for corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain inventory control oversight by partnering with stores and business teams to support queries relating to stock movements.
- Support all retail locations in inquiries, investigations, and bookings.
- Some early mornings, late nights, and some weekends.
- Analyze and generate fraud prevention reports for business teams.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate fraud patterns to management and provide recommendations for loss mitigation as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- Any other ad hoc tasks related to loss prevention and stock control.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' work experience in the field.
- Familiarity with Retail Operations, Stock Management, and Loss Prevention.
- SAP experience is desirable.
- Data analysis skills are a must.
- Proficiency in at least mid-level Excel is a must.
- Experience implementing and curating exception-based reporting.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence solutions is desirable.
- Strong planning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, communicating effectively with business teams.
- Ability to multitask and remain fluid as the landscape is ever-changing.
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Able to travel, based on the needs of the business.
- Concession rebills knowledge is a plus.
