As a London Drugs LTC Clinical pharmacist, it means providing indirect patient care in a team-oriented work environment involving clinical pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians, assistants, doctors, and nurses. A continuing-care focused dispensary that fosters professional excellence in a team setting divergent from conventional retail dispensaries. Pharmacy technicians and state-of-the-art technology are used to relieve pharmacists from routine tasks and allow them to concentrate on clinical pharmacy. You will be given the tools and opportunity to practice your profession in a well-equipped pharmacy with regular pharmacist overlap, which helps optimize patient care.

You have a desire to actively engage in therapeutic evaluation of prescriptions, monitoring patient profiles/electronic charts, clinical services support as per British Columbia Pharmacy Services Framework and overseeing compounding and unit-dose packaging activities. You are interested in disease management and compliance programs as well as being involved with seminars, workshops, and clinics. The LTC dispensary is located at London Drugs 7280 Market Crossing, Burnaby BC. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday.
