Tasks

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

This position involves physical capabilities such as lifting and moving goods, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions.
