Position Summary

The Logistics Scheduler will coordinate and optimize the scheduling of shipments, deliveries, and resources to ensure efficient and timely operations. This role involves planning, tracking, and communicating schedules while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scheduling and Planning
   1. Develop and maintain detailed schedules for transportation, deliveries, and resources.
   2. Monitor and adjust schedules based on operational needs, delays, or changes in demand.
   3. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timelines align with business priorities.
2. Communication and Coordination
   1. Act as the central point of contact for scheduling inquiries and updates.
   2. Liaise with vendors, carriers, and clients to confirm schedules and resolve conflicts.
   3. Provide real-time updates to relevant parties about schedule changes or disruptions.
3. Tracking and Reporting
   1. Utilize logistics software and tools to monitor shipments and schedules.
   2. Generate reports on schedule adherence, efficiency, and potential bottlenecks.
   3. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. Problem-Solving
   1. Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and develop contingency plans.
   2. Address and resolve scheduling issues in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Compliance and Documentation
   1. Ensure all schedules comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
   2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scheduling activities.
