Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Logistics Coordinator-Transport is responsible for providing end-to-end successful pick-up and delivery of each shipment.

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with the Provinces, Licensed Producers, Metro Cross dock operations, and Transportation Service Providers.
• Acts as a first point of contact for the customer and responds to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Schedules outbound and inbound carrier appointments by selecting the most service-appropriate, cost and time-efficient mode.
• Receives and processes customer orders.
• Performs additional duties assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Completion of secondary school diploma preferred or the equivalent in combination of education and experience.
• College diploma in administrative studies is an asset.
• Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience working in a similar role.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Service-oriented with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, and Email.
